Archie came to CRCCS after another shelter had labeled him “unadoptable”. His outcome was bleak. We did not know much about his history, but we knew something must be done to help this sweet guy who just needed a chance to re-set. Our team had to find out what makes this quirky guy tick. We are so proud of Archie’s growth and transformation.
This guy has PUT IN THE WORK and it shows!! Archie is a highly intelligent and highly athletic guy! Playful, adventurous, agile. He’s fully trained on our CRCCS foundation training program and has also been put into our trick training program due to his absolute need to use his brain. It keeps him on his best behavior!
I AM REALLY GOOD AT: showing my silly side.
I AM AT MY BEST WHEN: I am given structure and a clear routine. It makes me feel much more confident when I know what is coming up.
I DON’T REALLY LOVE: surprises! When someone unknown moves quickly or someone comes at me really is alarming to me.
I NEED SOME HELP WITH: meeting new people and dogs. I have friends in both categories, but I can get overstimulated and stressed during first dates. It is a lot of pressure, so I would like someone who understands me, and how I need time.
WHAT I REALLY WANT YOU TO KNOW ABOUT ME: my winning smile and joyful personality make me quite desirable. Volunteers always request to meet me, and staff bicker over who gets to walk me. I feel so loved. But I would really like to know what it feels like to have my very own family and home. I’m ready to make the commitment…are you?
