Beating the odds. One animal at a time.

Max Anderson

Overall l walked away with a good impression of the staff, polite, professional and they seem to be willing to take on the problem dogs which is no small feat. I give them credit for what they are striving to do there.

Julia Miller

Don’t shop, adopt! They are a wonderful organization that helps dogs. Very caring and friendly people here. I found my Abby here. Also a great place to volunteer to walk the dogs.

Dominic Taylor

Staff is friendly and the dogs love going there. They have helped rehome dogs that are difficult to place matching the dogs needs with new owners.

Maserati (Masi)

Striking, Sharp, and Zippy…just like the car!
• Est. Birth: 2024
• Weight: 30 pounds

Maserati, Masi as we lovingly call him, is a sweet young gentleman who thrives in a routine consisting of mental stimulation, consistent guidance and lots of love. He is a very smart boy that learns tricks quickly and aims to please. Masi has a fur coat that is luxurious to the touch. And check out that award winning smile! He’s precious all around. Yet he comes from a working breed lineage, so you better be prepared to keep up with this ‘sportscar’ as he grows.

I AM REALLY GOOD AT: Fetch!!!! Toss me a ball, I’ll show you…over and over again!
I AM AT MY BEST WHEN: I have proper guidance and leadership to help me develop more confidence.
I DON’T REALLY LOVE: sharing my toys with other dogs.
I NEED SOME HELP WITH: understanding new people, dogs and situations. I’m a young guy and still learning, and would appreciate someone with patience that provides a safe education.
WHAT I REALLY WANT YOU TO KNOW ABOUT ME: I’m a young dude and I have bounced around to different homes. It has been confusing for me, so I would love someone who is ready to commit. I like routines. They help me understand what is next and that makes me happy. I bond deeply with my people, so only serious lovers of belly rubs and wet kisses, please.

To schedule an appointment to meet Masi and learn more about this pup, please call 775-800-1906.

Sierra
Sierra

Mellow, Tranquil, and Social
• Est. Birth: 2018
• Weight: 65 pounds

Sierra is a gentle labradoodle who is ready for her forever family. She recently lost her elderly mama and we at CRCCS have stepped in to make sure Sierra continues to be loved and appreciated for the rest of her life. As Sierra tip-toes into her senior years, she deserves a retirement that is both relaxing and enriching. She wants to be a part of the activity and spend most of her time right next to her person. So we are hoping to find a family or individual who wants to share their adventures and chill time with a fantastic dog.

I AM REALLY GOOD AT: Riding in a car, walking on leash, and just being oh so precious.
I AM AT MY BEST WHEN: I get to be with my person/people.
I DON’T REALLY LOVE: Not being a part of the adventure. I want to be involved with my family.
I NEED SOME HELP WITH: Meeting new dogs. I have experience with many dogs, but prefer more one on one, or a small group. Big energy dogs are not my jam.
WHAT I REALLY WANT YOU TO KNOW ABOUT ME: I consider my job to be your sidekick.

To schedule an appointment to meet Sierra and learn more about this pup, please call 775-800-1906.
