Barret is a sweet boy with a playful spirit and a love for people. He is an intelligent guy who is always eager to learn and explore the world around him. This gentle giant is very affectionate and loves nothing more than to snuggle up with his favorite humans. He is very loyal to his family and will always be there to provide comfort and companionship. He needs to be the only dog in the home where he can be the center of attention and receive all the love and care he deserves. Plus he makes a great co-pilot because he loves going on car rides; he is excellent at sitting in one spot and enjoying the fresh air! This handsome boy is more than ready to be the newest addition to your family!
I AM REALLY GOOD AT: Playing with my toys. I shake them, toss them and roll on them. I enjoy a fun game of tug and will also entertain you with my favorite game, “one way fetch.”
I AM AT MY BEST WHEN: I am hanging out with my people. Chill walks or lounging around.. Also, kids are fun and I’m a real good boy with them. Big guy like me, I know my size and don’t want to hurt kids.
I DON’T REALLY LOVE: High energy, rambunctious dogs. What’s the deal? Chill out.
I NEED SOME HELP WITH: Keeping up my good manners. I’m a nice guy, and I walk well on leash. I’ve learned a lot and want to continue to explore and grow.
WHAT I REALLY WANT YOU TO KNOW ABOUT ME: I may look like a big mushy guy and well, I am that but I am also really smart. My caregivers freeze my meals, give me lots of toys and help me practice nosework. I like to do things that make me think. And I also like to just hang out. Sunbathing is the bee’s knees. I like to be involved in what my people are doing. Car ride, yup! Lounge on couch, big YUP! Explore, super-duper yup!!!!
