Darla LOVES dogs but is very active and physical, so she’ll need to be paired with a dog that isn’t turned off by her fun-loving exuberance. Darla is a sweetheart who loves getting pets, going on walks, and playing with toys. Since she is still so young, she is looking for someone who can be a leader to teach her how to navigate new things and settle into a very structured routine! I DON’T REALLY LOVE: Overstimulating environments. I’m a young lady and still learning the ropes to this crazy world. Helping me process and explore new things lets me understand at a pace that allows me to take it all in.
I NEED SOME HELP WITH: Keeping up my good manners. I’m super playful and get a little overly excited at times. Having someone who helps remind me about my good skills will be a great friend to me.
WHAT I REALLY WANT YOU TO KNOW ABOUT ME: Life is all about the joy!!!!! I love to play…with toys, with dogs, with people, with water…I’m just so happy to engage!!! It is really fun to learn new tricks and ways to make you laugh. Sometimes new people make me nervous, so if I can have a leader who helps me to meet people politely and with confidence, that would be the best.
