Mia is divine! She is such a happy girl, despite her furrowed brows that give her an expression of wonderment. Mia has been gentle with all of her handlers. She walks nicely on leash and enjoys a good belly rub while snuggling. Oh, and she loves playing in water. If you are a fan of camping, hiking, or just exploring the lake (river, pond, pool, etc.), Mia is game for it. This one is a winner!!! Just a lovely dog who wants to have a family or person of her own. Mia loves treats and finding ways to earn them. Mia does well with other dogs and has shown lovely manners around the resident cat at CRCCS. So we believe she has a great deal of potential in just about any type of home and environment that will let her thrive.
I AM REALLY GOOD AT: catching leaves in the pools. They call me the Leaf-Lifeguard as I “save them all” from the depths of baby pools.
I AM AT MY BEST WHEN: I get to be with people and earn treats. I love treats and will do just about anything to earn them!!!!
I DON’T REALLY LOVE: hmmm…probably rude dogs, but so far, I’ve made friends with different kinds of dogs and people with ease.
I NEED SOME HELP WITH: keeping my good manners and continuing to have positive experiences with other dogs and new environments.
WHAT I REALLY WANT YOU TO KNOW ABOUT ME: I have lived in a home and really enjoyed that time. I’m a good girl with polite manners. Gentle on leash and appropriate when meeting strangers. Just hit some bad luck that has me looking for a committed family/person. I look forward to meeting you!
